George Brikho, Republican Candidate Supports Patients and Their Rights to Organic Medicine
Candidate George Brikho attended the NRPA (The National Patients’ Rights Association) fundraising event, supporting the use of medical marijuana for patients who do not benefit from other forms of treatment. The event was held at The Gateway Holiday Inn of Flint on November 23. Among Brikho, other guest speakers such as: Senator (D) James Ananich and Mr. Kevin McKinney of McKinney and Associates discussed the legality of medical marijuana as well as the future for patients seeking alternative treatment from otherwise damaging narcotics, heavy duty pain relievers or other medicines prescribed, without regard to the negative effects of these drugs to the liver, kidneys and immune systems. Brikho encouraged Americans to support local caregivers, grow their own medicine (and produce to avoid GMOs) and of course to speak up for their rights in all of these regards. The event, hosted by Hardcore Harvest raised funds to support the Medical Marijuana Act as well as collected new toys for The Salvation Army of Greater Detroit; aiding local families in need is one of Brikho’s most humble goals.
