A great number of words have been written about the Notre Dame fire in Paris on April 15. There is a large outpouring of sympathy and claims of solidarity with regard to the situation. It will take many years to rebuild and restore the building. While Americans are focusing on this, I would like to respectfully point out that there are many other churches as well as buildings of international significance that have been damaged or destroyed and these deserve just as much attention.

Here in the United States, specifically Louisiana, some scumbag arsonist burned down three churches only a few weeks ago. All of the buildings were over 100 years old. All of the churches are Baptist and are historically and predominately black. It would have been nice to see people pay as much attention to this as they did to Notre Dame. Paris is over there, Louisiana is over here. Its too bad that is took some public shaming to finally get people to address this.

Christian churches in Iraq have been systematically destroyed in the 21st Century. Much of the destruction was attributable to ISIL, but it started as far back as 2003. Our nation’s war to overthrow Saddam Hussein began a sequence of events that lead to widespread destruction of Christian heritage in Mesopotamia. It would have been nice if the mainstream media had paid more attention to this as well as the massive human suffering that occurred with these multiple wars.

If the reason to focus on Notre Dame is because of its importance to the world, then let us look at some other worthy and overlooked buildings. The roof was blown off The Parthenon in Athens during a wartime bombardment in 1687. Maybe we should talk about rebuilding The Parthenon. Aleppo was destroyed during the battles that lasted between 2012 and 2016. When you consider our federal government’s role in screwing up the Middle East, then Aleppo should be an equally deserved recipient of our goodwill.

Perhaps more charity at home or a focus of charity towards war zones is what we should be doing as Americans. It’s going to take a long time to rebuild Notre Dame. The Cologne Cathedral was damaged by Allied bombing raids during World War Two and restoration work has been occurring there for 70 years. There will be plenty of money to fix Notre Dame. Let the French government take care of it and let’s start giving equal attention to other worthwhile.

The recent arrest of WikiLeaks cofounder Julian Assange in London is an outrage.  There are so many things wrong with this situation that I could write a book.  A long book.  Assange had been granted asylum by the Ecuadorian government back in 2012, and became a citizen of Ecuador in 2017.  Now, they have revoked that asylum, invited the London Police into their embassy to arrest him, and he is sitting in jail cell presumably awaiting extradition.  Many international human rights groups believe that he should be released.

This is a cautionary tale about governments and government agencies.  The behavior of Ecuador’s president, Lenin Moreno, is reprehensible.  It is proof that all too often a government can say something or promise anything one day, and change its mind on a different day.  That becomes very true when there is a change of leadership in a government.  It is known that Moreno has been implicated in a corruption scandal in Ecuador by his country’s legislature.  As always, governments show they cannot be trusted.

Assange may appeal to the government of France for asylum on humanitarian grounds (he has a son who lives in France).  But what would come next?  Does anyone really want to trust the French to do the right thing?  Assange will always be on the run unless the United States drops its legal case against him.

The international media should be praising the work that Assange and WikiLeaks have done over the years.  Assange should be as revered as Daniel Ellsberg, who released the Pentagon Papers in 1971.  Our United States Constitution guarantees freedom of the press.  Assange should be treated as a reporter and WikiLeaks considered a news reporting organization.

It should be stated that Assange is not accused by the United States government of hacking.  He is a reporter who has used a hacker as a source.  He is a journalist who has sought to protect his sources, which earned the enmity of several national governments.  If we value freedom of speech then we have to stand in support of him.

If we care about holding our own government accountable, especially when it is engaging in unjust warfare overseas, then we need people like Assange doing the very work that they have done.  The justifications for our military misadventures have often been spurious.  We need to admit that the United States either has no clue about what it is doing in the Middle East, or (worse) is an intentional bad actor.  Ellsberg, Assange and others have done the necessary work over time to expose our foreign policy misconduct.

It’s time to free Julian Assange!

OP-ED

DEFENDING THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE

Our nation’s Founders, in their wisdom, created the Electoral College as the method for electing the President of the United States.  It is the Electoral College, not the nationwide popular vote, that determines who occupies The White House.  Donald Trump won the Electoral College in 2016 by a vote of 304 to 227.  This was one of several instances in history where the winner of the Electoral College was not the top vote getter in the popular vote.  George W. Bush was elected President in 2000 in a similar scenario.

The Socialists in our country want to get rid of the Electoral College, even though it is a part of our Constitution.  They are working on a state-by-state basis to eradicate the Electoral College and replace it with a nationwide popular vote to determine who is the President of the United States.  This is driven by the fact that their losing candidates like Al Gore and Hillary Clinton were just that … losers.  Progressives want to change the rules because they often cannot win when they are forced to play by the rules.  It is one of many examples of liberals showing disdain for the United States Constitution.

We need politicians in Michigan to stand up for the Electoral College as it exists.  State Legislators have to resist efforts to amend the Constitution that would eliminate the Electoral College.  To amend the Constitution would require ratification from 38 state legislatures.  Therefore, it’s not enough to simply elect a Republican majority to our State House, we need to elect Constitutional Conservative Republicans.

If the Presidential election were to be decided by a nationwide popular vote, then Michigan would never receive any attention from the national campaigns.  Our automotive, agriculture and tourism interests would be ignored.  Everything would be focused on what sells in New York and California.  We need Presidential campaigns coming into our state and spending money.  Michigan needs the Electoral College to remain relevant.

I have watched President Donald Trump do many great things for our nation, but we need to make sure to stay on him so he does not go astray as many have within our corrupt political system. He is still a man, he is under an incredible amount of pressure, and we must pray for him as well as stay on him when he is making mistakes. This is how we can exert our power as political activists and help make America great again.

Right now, Trump is making a mistake by refusing to declassify certain government documents that would expose a tremendous amount of corruption at the FBI, Department of Justice and other deep state entities. These documents would reveal Bob Mueller’s special counsel investigation of Russian collusion to be a total farce, but Trump is hesitant to release them. The swamp is in Trump’s ear constantly, telling him that releasing the documents would destroy the prestige of the federal government. They are correct, but this is exactly what needs to happen.

The deep state, the military-industrial complex, the international financiers, the globalist cabal, the new world order, or whatever you want to call them are afraid of the sunlight. They operate under the cover of darkness and commit atrocities that we cannot even comprehend. The only way this system can possibly be reformed is for this information to be released to the public. They may say we can’t handle the truth, but we must challenge ourselves to be up to the task. Living in fear and ignorance is causing America a great spiritual and cultural rot.

There are unsolved questions about everything that is important in this country, and people don’t talk about it enough. We have been kept in the dark for too long. Going from JFK to Vietnam to 9/11 to Iraq and so on, we have never been told the truth about any major world event that takes place. We cannot be a dumb, servile, weak, pathetic people and expect for God to bestow us with the blessings of liberty. Trump may be our last chance to turn this around, but he must act wisely. He has done a lot for us, but far more is needed!

Trump has agitated against the powers-that-be magnificently. He has politicized the issue of the deep state and their treasure trove of secret documents frequently, something that no other politician except for Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky is willing to do. He deserves credit for that, but he also deserves admonishment for going back on his word. He said he would release documents before the elections, and then recanted. Those documents could possibly have saved the 2018 mid-term elections, which were particularly bad in Michigan for Republicans.

Mr. President: This issue is NOT about scoring political points. It is not a political football you can kick down the road to get better deals for your administration. This is about righting the wrongs that have turned America from the greatest country in the history of the world to a laughingstock that cannot even perform the basic functions of a country. This is about our children’s future and whether they live in a world where truth and justice reign supreme. If Trump fails at draining the swamp and the permanent bureaucracy remains in place in Washington DC, America will NEVER be great again.

We must call upon him to act, and to declassify all documents that show us how the deep state violates our freedoms. Call the President at 202-456-1111 and urge him to declassify these crucial documents!

Thank you for caring about the future of your nation.

Sincerely,
George Brikho

Image result for fake newsThere is so much corruption these days within our politics that it could be accurately described as Biblical. Whether it is the end of days or not, I fight for the future of my family, my community and this land that I love. I try to inspire others to fight as well because it’s the only way we can possibly escape this mess.

We have rooted out corruption before and we will do it again, despite the impediments made by corrupt public officials at every level. I like to keep the focus on local and state corruption because it is what directly affects our lives the most, and it is where we can make the biggest difference. Serving as a whistle-blower against local and state corruption is not always easy, as I recently discovered yet again in Bloomfield.

Appearing on ‘Tough Talk with Paul Taros,’ I spoke about what happened in Inkster to me and other dispensary owners. We were strong-armed by a gangster government. They wanted to extort us to do business in their town. These corrupt officials committed many crimes, documented in many audio recordings, and will pay the price in the court of law when this all said and done. This is happening in many other communities throughout Michigan as legalization becomes a reality. Although the people have spoken, government thugs never make the process easy.

Paul Taros, a friend of mine, is a liberty-minded community activist who recently ran for State House. He has diligently called out local corrupt officials in Bloomfield on his public access show for years. Public access is meant to be a constitutional right for citizens to use in order to spread the truth. It is supposed to be a means for us to communicate with each other and discuss important issues outside of the bounds of the corporate-dominated media. Although it is a small and often overlooked venue, it is nonetheless an important one.

The local tyrants of Bloomfield Township yanked Taros’ show off the air entirely, using my whistle-blowing appearance as the excuse to do so. General Manager Greg Kowalski made the decision to stomp on the constitutional rights of Taros in order to better control information throughout the city. Township Supervisor Leo Savoie, who is as corrupt as they come, is no doubt very happy about the muzzling of Taros. Corrupt Inkster Mayor Byron Nolen and corrupt Bloomfield Township Supervisor Leo Savoie may not be acquainted personally, but they certainly know how to protect each others’ scams.

This shows that every battle being waged at the federal level is also being waged at the state and local levels. The fake news maligns the President and stands in the way of making America great again, but that is just one example of many. Thousands of people are suffering because of these professional liars. When they aren’t using the airwaves to defame you personally, they are hampering your ability to get an opposing viewpoint out. Kowalski and Savoie run Bloomfield Community television in the same way the globalists run CNN: with an iron fist against the We the People!

There is a call for President Donald J. Trump to drain the swamp in Washington DC, but that is not nearly enough. There is a swamp not just in Lansing, but also in every community across the state and the country. Until each swamp is drained, America will never be free or great. This is where you need to get involved. It may seem like a daunting task, but we have the numbers on our side. Despite their institutional advantages, the bad guys are extremely unpopular, and we can outwork them to achieve success. We all must get off the couch and crush our local tyrants before more our our rights are violated.

I cannot express my disgust enough with the Republican Party and how they are stupidly squandering all the momentum that Trump built with his historic victory in the 2016 presidential election. I fear that the blue wave will be a reality in November because the Michigan GOP cannot stop shooting itself in the foot.

Tuning into a showing of ‘Let it Rip’ on FOX 2 Detroit last week, I saw two Republicans debate a leftist pro-Bernie Sanders activist on the issue of legalized marijuana. The legalization of marijuana is an incredibly popular move after its success in many states throughout America, which has proven the lies of the prohibitions wrong. It is also a limited government, pro-freedom issue. It is not something Republicans should concede to the Democrats.

However, we had two Republican leaders – former Senate Majority Leader Randy Richardville and current House Judiciary Chairman Jim Runestad – appear on the program defending the status quo regarding marijuana policy. They spewed utter nonsense to defend their unpopular positions. Anyone under the age of 40 watching the program would want to run to the polls to vote for Democrats after listening to the absurdity of the Republicans on the panel. Worse yet, both of these hypocrites have taken money from the marijuana industry in the recent past.

Libertarian activist Tim Beck noted that he and other marijuana activists, entrepreneurs and enthusiasts once shelled out $250 a piece to Randy Richardville at a fundraiser, hoping that they could pay to play with the corrupt former Senate leader. Instead, he stabbed them in the back and promoted legislation that would have destroyed the medical marijuana industry in Michigan. Believing Rep. Runestad was a straight shooter, I personally helped raise over $17,000 for him to promote legislation to protect the little guy in the industry. He took the cash and immediately betrayed us to jump in bed with big tobacco and big alcohol to push his state senate ambitions.

This is not about how these men are disingenuous and do not live up to their word. That is very much commonplace in Lansing. There are very few men of honor in our government at any level. What is so offensive is how these men push terrible policies that will sink the Republican Party just to serve themselves. Runestad is trying to jump to the state Senate while Richardville is paid by a lobbying outfit tied to political hacks at the state and national levels. That is why they play ball with the anti-freedom prohibition lobby – to wet their beaks at the expense of the rest of us.

Because of these disgraces and others, I am very sorrowful to report that the blue wave is likely to take place in Michigan, but don’t blame Trump. Blame the sorry Republican politicians who have been around long before Trump ran for President. They continue the same failed policies, the same lobbyist-driven approach, and the same lousy results that turn off the voting public. Only after the disaster that happens in November might we be able to build something better from the ashes of this abortion of a political organization.

Sadly, it is going to take a whole lot of pain – pain that will have to be shared amongst our families, our friends, our neighbors, our communities, our businesses, etc. – before the situation ever improves. As we all suffer, remember the cause of that pain: The Republican cowards who put their own ambitions ahead of doing what was right for the people and surrendered victory to the Democrats.

This past weekend, Sen. John McCain died of brain cancer. While I have sorrow for his family and his children on a purely human level, the way the mainstream media is attempting to turn this man into some kind of saint is beyond disgusting.

Putting aside McCain’s military service for a moment, let us look at what the man accomplished as a public official. He was apart of the Keating 5 scandal where McCain did the bidding of a bankster who defrauded Americans out of billions during his initial days in the Senate. He was barely able to survive this embarrassment early in his career.

But that paled in comparison to the biggest crime of McCain’s career: the War on Iraq.

President Donald Trump called George W. Bush’s war on Iraq one of the greatest blunders in history. He was not wrong, but he actually undershot the reality of the situation. It wasn’t just a blunder. It was a criminal act. It was the rape of a land. It was a genocide of Christians. It opened the door for radical Islam to take power. It resulted in millions of deformed children, destined to live their lives in extreme suffering due to depleted uranium being dropped upon their land by US bombers.

This was enabled because of the advocacy of John McCain. He – along with Chuck Schumer, Joe Biden, Hillary Clinton, Mitch McConnell and Jeff Sessions – authorized this war that has yielded nothing but tragedy in return. A far-leftist, pro-communist, anti-American, extremist Islamic regime is coming into power in Iraq because of the democratic reforms that were put into place. It turns out bombing a country into oblivion turns that country against you.

Who thought it would be a great idea to bomb Iraq to Hell and then introduce democracy there afterwards? None other than Sen. John McCain, the man who is being called a hero by the fake news media right now! These facts are all conveniently forgotten by the liberal spin doctors, of course. The leftist gutter trash considers McCain a hero because he spent his final days – when he was deathly ill, mentally deranged and should have been resting and spending time with family – trying to derail the presidency of Donald Trump.

But McCain was never much of a family man – that is why he left the mother of his children who had waited for him while he was captive in Vietnam for a rich heiress. His first wife, Carol, had lost her attractiveness after suffering a car accident that nearly claimed her life. McCain left her in the dirt to help his political ambitions. He later called his new trophy wife a “c-nt” in front of a gaggle of reporters while hosting them on a massive yacht paid for with his wifey’s money. This is the man who is called a champion of decency and civility by the fake news media!

Now, let’s talk about his military service for a second. I love to honor our nations heroes, but never the ones who snitch and become a rat under the pressure. McCain was called “Songbird John” by his fellow Vietnam war veterans because he aided and abetted the enemy. He recorded propaganda recordings on behalf of the communist Vietnamese government. Those tapes were leaked many years later:

Only because of his admiral daddy’s connections was McCain ever to escape culpability for his real record in Vietnam. McCain’s actual record shows a self-centered, ruthless man who would tell any lie to get ahead. He committed seditious treachery to save his own ass in Vietnam, left a sick loyal woman who stood by his side in the dirt, and perpetrated a record of evil in the Senate that few can come close to matching. We must proclaim the truth and not deify a man who represented all that was wrong with America when he was alive. McCain was a globalist, a neoconservative, a warmonger and never put America first a day in his life.

McCain’s record is being whitewashed by the mainstream media as a ploy to hurt Donald Trump and weaken his presidency. Do not fall into their trap. We must stand strong, remember to put America first, and make sure that the legacies of public officials match what they accomplished when they were alive. McCain’s record was that of the swamp personified. He kicked and screamed to stop America from being made great again in his dying days, and he is likely paying a steep eternal price right now for his wicked behavior.

Friends,

I always try to keep a laser focus on foreign affairs because it is extremely important and very rarely will the fake news media actually give you the truth about what is happening overseas. This is especially true pertaining to Trump’s recent summit with Putin.

After US President Donald Trump met with Russian President Vladimir Putin in Helsinki last month, virtually every elitist of our entrenched political class hollered the same refrain. They whined about treason, or Russian collusion, or about Putin being a dictator, blah blah blah. They would rather see us go to war with Russia, which would probably be World War III, than see us work together with the country on shared strategic interests.

There were very few men with the courage to stand strong with the President for extending the olive branch in times when peace and the settling of tensions are desperately needed. None of those brave folks who stood with the President had a higher public profile than Sen. Rand Paul.

Rand Paul arrived in Russia today and continues his Moscow visit right now. He endured an incredible battery of threats and ridicule in order to make this trip. He was on the receiving end of two terrorist attacks from deranged leftists triggered into action by biased mainstream media coverage against the President, one of which could easily have taken his life. His trip to Russia is already yielding results and may go a long way toward rectifying the damage done by the deep state between the two nations.

Paul announced today that Russian lawmakers have agreed to visit the U.S. Capitol in the near future. Paul met with Konstantin Kosachev, chairman of the Russia Federation Council Committee on Foreign Affairs, and the two men were able to come to that decision. They both believe that dialogue and engagement between the two nations are incredibly important. If we ever return to normalcy in our relations with Russia, we will owe Sen. Paul a great debt of gratitude.

Just like what happened in Iraq, the mainstream media launched a propaganda campaign to demonize Saddam Hussein so the deluded public would accept an aggressive, unnecessary war. They did the same thing to Muammar Gaddafi in the run up to his removal with an illegal war in Libya. They are maligning Putin not because of what he has done in the world. Truth be told, Putin’s crimes throughout the world pale in comparison to our own. We must remember the blood on our own collective hands before we unduly judge others.

The powers-that-be are calling Putin the next Hitler is because he stands against the globalist agenda, for his people, for the strength of his nation, and he is willing to ally with right-wing movements throughout the West who have similar goals. Putin may be heavy-handed in how he handles his business, but we regularly ally with authoritarian governments all the time. Just look at our long-standing allies in Turkey and Saudi Arabia, two Islamic dictatorships where Christians are tortured and open homosexuals are stoned. Putin and Trump have similar goals in stopping Islamic terror in the Middle East, and the nations’ economies are very much intertwined in the global economy.

Why should both countries not be safe and prosperous? Former President Obama was unable to secure electoral integrity back in 2016, and of course, those along with all other Obama-era disasters should be corrected. It is our responsibility to stop electoral meddling, just as it is Russia’s responsibility to stop any electoral meddling that the United States does. We should not sabotage diplomacy over espionage that is frankly routine and clearly had no impact on the actual result of the 2016 election.

Just listen to Obama himself explain how the 2016 election could never be rigged, not in a million years:

This is one of the rare cases where I agree with the former President. Trump won fair and square, and an alliance between Russia and the US should not be sabotaged because of the whining of sore losers. Protecting and strengthening the West is more important than satisfying the unstable emotions of crybaby Democratic cowards unwilling to accept responsibility for their own massive failure in 2016. That is exactly what Putin and Trump intent to accomplish, and these two leaders actually have the king-sized balls to pull it off.

Rand Paul is supporting the President and making it easier for him to pull off his heroic foreign policy agenda. We are finally defeating the neocons and returning to a policy of engagement rather than beligerence. This is what we hoped for when we were apart of the Ron Paul revolution. I would recommend all supporters of Rand and his father to rally around President Trump as he does incredible work overseas. Rand Paul could ultimately become the successor of Trump, continuing his legacy, building upon his foreign policy, and finally bringing the troops home from overseas in 2024. This is how we regain the lost momentum of the liberty movement!

Time to come together and unify around making America great again. We will unite around Trump in the homeland while Russia and the United States unite to make Western Civilization great again!

The mainstream media is now up in arms as US President Donald Trump gets ready for a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin later this month. Those poor souls who are glued to the idiot box think this is a horror. This hysterical propaganda beamed out into the minds of unsuspecting Americans is supposed to make us believe it is the 1950s again, the Cold War is back on, and the red menace is out of control. Nothing could be further from the truth.

This propaganda can only be believed by desperate fools with no concept of the American foreign policy status quo. In actuality, Russia is heading in the right direction – toward free markets and toward a strong nation while embracing traditionalism and rejecting degeneracy. Like Syrian leader Bashar al-Assad, Putin stands firmly for his people and that is why they love him or it. Putin will not sell his people down the river at the behest of a global cabal of thieves, murderers and pedophiles. He is a natural ally for Trump, as the men share many strategic goals.

The goal that is most important for both of these men to achieve during their summit is peace in Syria. The last time that Putin and Trump ‘colluded’ was in Syria to defeat ISIS. After Trump reversed the policy enacted by Barack Hussein Obama that was funneling the weapons into the hands of terrorists in Syria, ISIS was quickly dispatched. As a result, the Syrian regime under Assad was strengthened and the Christians of Syria will continue to get safe haven. The genocide of Christians has been thwarted, and radical Islam has been repelled.

Of course, there were many casualties in Syria during the civil war. Many people lost their lives fighting to run ISIS and other terror groups out of the region. The Russian and American forces who dropped many bombs certainly contributed to that carnage, and that cannot be discounted. War is hell, and blood is on the hands of everyone who participated. The United States – who propped up Al Queda and ISIS in Syria under the Obama regime – committed atrocities. But now, we have the chance to finally do the right thing under President Trump. We finally have the chance to reverse course. This is the miracle we have all prayed for.

Nevertheless, it has been a rocky road with the Trump administration. President Trump has advisors such as General John Kelly, General James Mattis and Bush-era neocon John Bolton who are constantly in his ear telling him to keep troops in the Middle East. Trump has even flirted with arming the Kurdish rebels in Syria, which has sent our strategic partner Turkey into a frenzy as a result. Trump even recently continued the funding of the White Helmets, the Al Queda re-brand that gets a Hollywood propaganda push to support terror groups in the Middle East. These are missteps that the President quickly needs to remedy if he wants to truly reverse the damage caused by Obama, Clinton and Bush.

Trump’s policies have been far from consistent, and he has certainly made mistakes. Trump’s instincts are sound though. He knows these Middle Eastern wars are nonsense and has expressed those sentiments many times. He called the Iraq War the worst disaster in history. I can affirm from the experiences of my own family and friends that Trump tells the truth in that assessment. His natural instincts are to spend money on American interests and stay out of foreign entanglements. His recent shocking progress toward peace in North Korea shows Trump’s diplomatic brilliance and iron will.

Trump needs to duplicate that iron will when dealing with Putin. He needs to muster the courage to ignore his establishment-leaning advisors and come together in a show of strength with his Russian counterpart. He needs to announce peace in Syria, and work with Putin to make sure that Iran comes together with the US to make a new deal. A new deal where Iran is actually made to comply with the terms unlike last time. This way, we can ensure safety in the Middle East without resorting to another bloody, costly and counter-productive war.

The globalist elite will do everything they can to sabotage Trump and his diplomatic efforts, of course. They will stage false-flag attacks and blame Assad for them. They will make up lies, cast aspirsions, fake poisonings, use children as political props, and anything else they can imagine in order to keep the US presence in the Middle East. Genocide is their business. Dropping bombs onto wedding parties and funeral processions is their modus operandi. Keeping the war machine going for whatever reason – on behalf of the defense contractors, the deep state, DoD bureaucrats, and other vulturous interests who feed from the military-industrial complex – is their goal.

Trump has a chance to throw a wrench into this satanic system with the world’s most powerful and respected leader by his side. He must take this opportunity and strike while the iron is hot. As we saw with President John F. Kennedy who tried to take on the CIA and Deep State of his day, Trump’s time as President may be limited. He must not hesitate in establishing a lasting peace in Syria. This can be his enduring legacy – far better than anything any President has done in a generation. The two leaders are expected to meet on July 16 in Helsinki, Finland.

ACTION ALERT: Call President Trump’s office and urge him to work toward peace in Syria at 202-456-1111.

Thanks,
George

Friends,

As many of you know, I supported Donald Trump for President in 2016. I did so for a variety of reasons, and do not regret it. I knew he was not perfect but could tell he was not apart of the establishment gang. He spoke truth to power, and it was refreshing. His foreign policy was the best of all. Trump regularly called out George W. Bush. He called out Republicans. He called the Iraq War the worst policy in history. He wanted to spend the money we waste abroad on wars in the homeland to build up America and Make America Great Again.

This was what he espoused on the campaign trail, but that has changed now that he is in the White House. Trump is losing his way and embarking upon similar policies as his predecessors. There was incredible progress in Syria that was achieved in 2017, and it is now in jeopardy. Trump reversed the policies of Barack Hussein Obama that were funneling weapons to ISIS and other Muslim terror groups to dispose the regime of Bashar al-Assad. This allowed Assad along with the Russians to decimate ISIS in the region. Without ISIS around as a threat, there is no longer a bogeyman in the region that can be used to justify endless war. That is why the complicit Western media has made Assad and Putin — the men who literally saved the world from ISIS — into the new bogeymen.

Trump’s recent bombing of Syria and the Assad regime only helps ISIS. He is playing into the hands of his enemies. The only way ISIS can gain a foothold in Syria is if Assad is disposed from that country. Assad is the protector of Christians in the region. Assad is the crusher of radical Islam in the region. Compared to other rulers in the Middle East, he is not repressive. Our “strong ally” in Saudi Arabia, for one example, is far more brutal than Assad by every possible metric and commits war crimes in Yemen that dwarf anything Assad has ever done. This hypocrisy is pushed by the Western media to drive the war machine, which won’t be happy until the entire Middle East is on fire and America is looted completely.

What has made me particularly sad and disgusted is to see many Republicans and many Christians falling for these lies. Self-professed followers of Christ cheer as the man who protects Christians in Syria from slaughter is framed for chemical attacks he did not commit and bombarded for no good reason. So-called Republicans who elected Trump to make America great again and put America first now support the exact same failed policies of Bush and Obama. Why does the American public refuse to learn? Why are Americans so willfully ignorant of basic facts? This collective amnesia allows America to be abused like a two-dollar whore by the globalists, and Trump is apparently ill-equipped to stop them.

Trump has already set a dangerous precedent with his unauthorized strikes of Syria, but now he needs to stop. Trump has said ‘Mission Accomplished’ but that does not mean the dangers have subsided. There are powerful interests that want us to remain in Syria for a long time, and they are leaning on Trump to get their way right now. The Israeli government, for instance, wants us to remain in the region to fight Iran and Syria on their behalf. Israel is a first-world nation with a massive military, and they can defend themselves. It does not benefit America to launch wars in Syria or Iran, and Trump was elected to put America first not to put Israel First. We saw how disastrous our wars with Iraq and Libya turned out to be. We have to resist the lies and urge others to do so.

Call President Donald Trump at 202-456-1111.

We have to blow up his phone. Make several calls and encourage others to do so. Trump will respond to pressure, but we have to be firm. We have to hold Donald Trump to his campaign promises. I supported him from the start, but understand that we elected him to be a servant leader. As Americans, we support a Constitutional system with checks and balances. We must remember our principles. We must remember that it is important to hold government officials accountable as our forefathers did. We must demand that Trump do the right thing, and avoid another grizzly unnecessary war. Remember your mandate, Trump, and get back to work fighting the globalists rather than parroting their talking points.

Sincerely,
George Brikho
